Worm Cartography
CmdrTaco reports in Slashdot about a new Symantec Worm Simulator. 
This software autogenerates a global visualization of a computer infection wave and a 3D representation of "an individual network, complete with desktop machines, workgroups, and larger company subnets." Someday in the near future the worm simulation will be used on television news in a similar manner to weather imagery.
That's great. it also supports my theory that we want to see things spatially represented.
